You may have heard the whispers about a wonderful weekend of friendship, shopping and sewing that is being planned in Southern Tassie over 3 days in March 2012.
Here is a little outline of what we have planned.
Friday 9th March 2012
Quilting Bus Tour, Lunch & Cadbury Factory Visit
The bus will leave the accomodation venue (see details further down this post) at 9am and will visit the following stores :-
Frangipani Fabrics
The Needle Woman
Patchworks
Possum Patch
The Quilted Crow
At 12.30pm we will dine at the Claremont Hotel for Lunch
At 2pm we will travel to the Cadbury Factory Visitor Centre & Retail Outlet for a HUGE dose of Chocolate Fun.
We will return to the accomodation venue at around 4pm. For those who want to join in we will be having a Pizza Night, Sew In complete with Party Games - Hosted By "The Nutters".
Saturday 10th March 2012
Salamanca Market Visit & Dinner
The bus will leave the accomodation venue (see details further down this post) at 9am and will visit Salamanca Market until 1pm when it will return to the venue.
At 6pm we will travel to the Riverfront Hotel for Dinner.
There will be another Sew-In on Saturday night with a Twist - Stay Tuned - Hosted by "The Nutters"

Helen Stubbings of "Hugs & Kisses" - will demonstrate her "Floriana" Needle Turn Technique
Joy Coey of "Joypatch" will demonstrate her "Quilt As You Go Method"
Vicki Tucek of "The Pickledish Patch" will demonstrate her "Framed Hexagons"
Dawn Hay of "Dawn Hay Designs" will demonstrate the "Accuquilt Baby Go" - You will get to use the machine and do some cutting for yourself.
Fiona Ransley of "Designs By Fee" will demonstrate "Paper Piecing" & "Fussy Cutting"
Fiona Ransley of "Designs By Fee" will demonstrate "Paper Piecing" & "Fussy Cutting"
Jo Chandler of "Lilly Pilly" will be demonstrating "Paper Crafts"
Accomodation
Guests are asked to book their own accomodation at the VENUE HERE. Please mention that you are booking for the stitching weekend so that they can put you in a cabin near the main "Nutters" cabin. 1 Nights accomodation is required as a holding deposit - Please note that this is a long weekend in Tasmania so book early !

This weekend is a "Must Do" and will become an annual event.
Cost will be $90 per person
Seats will be limited
Please Note that on the 1st December on this Blog a "Booking Form" will be released. All aspects of the weekend are optional. You do not have to attend all outings and/or functions - But it would be lovely if you can. You will need to fill out the booking form to book and payment will be required at the time of booking.
